You can now get the Microsoft Surface RT for $349

Windows RT is a "simplified" version of traditional Windows, so if you're looking for a great deal on a Windows RT tablet, you can now get Microsoft Surface RT for $349.

Surface RT is a nice 3rd screen device (your laptop being your first, your smartphone being your second) if you're looking for something that is inexpensive, light, and has long battery life. You won't be running traditional Windows applications on a Windows RT device, but Surface RT is a nice device for email, web browsing, and multimedia. Plus, it comes loaded with a version of Microsoft Office 365 to help you maintain your productivity.

If you need a tablet running Windows 8 Pro, then Microsoft has the Surface Pro which starts at $899. I suspect the price will drop if they launch an updated version of Surface Pro using the 4th generation Intel Core processor (codenamed Haswell).
